چکیده

Crop models are important for understanding and regulating agroecosystems. Although the CERES-Wheat model is an tool winter wheat research, it has some limitations under water stress conditions. To narrow gap, this study aimed to improve performance of in arid semi-arid regions based on experimental data from 2012 2014. The Priestley–Taylor (PT) FAO56 Penman–Monteith (PM) equations were used calculate reference crop evapotranspiration further modified coefficient CERES simulation accuracy yield results showed that: before jointing seriously affected simulating biomass grain yield, so was necessary original model. In improved models, PM equation lower than that PT. addition, higher (the average RMAE RRMSE less 30%). general, among four scenarios, PT calculating had best performance. Water occurred at heading filling stages, simulated good agreement with observed results, which better soil content later growth stages. Therefore, change response function positive effects This provided a applying areas.

Effect of Co-Application of Auxin-Producing Plant Growth Promoting Bacteria and Tryptophan on Wheat Growth under Water Stress Conditions

Auxin produced by plant growth-promoting bacteria (PGPR) in the wheat rhizosphere, can improve plant yield under water deficit stress condition. To investigate this issue, a completely randomized factorial design with three replications was conducted under greenhouse condition at the University of Maragheh, Eastern-Azarbayjan, Iran during 2019. Treatments were two types of growth-promoting bact...

The effect of exogenous silicon on seed germination and seedling growth of wheat cultivars under salt stress conditions

ABSTRACT- Seed germination and early seedling growth are critical stages for plants establishment and production, particularly under salinity conditions. Exogenous application of silicon (Si) can enhance germination as well as seedling growth. In this experiment, the effect of priming with Si (0, 0.75, 1.5 and 2.25 mM sodium silicate) on seed germination and seedling growth under NaCl (0, 100 a...

Effect of silicon application on wheat seedlings growth under water-deficit stress induced by polyethylene glycol

Silicon is known to ameliorate the deleterious effects of drought on plant growth. We evaluated growth of wheat (Triticum aestivum L. CV. Chamran) under Water-Deficit Stress Induced by Polyethylene Glycol as affected by Si application. In this article, the effects of Si (as potassium silicate) on some parameters related to growth, chlorophyll concentration relative water content (RWC), electrol...

Water and radiation use efficiency in different developmental stages in four bread wheat cultivars under moisture stress conditions

Abstract This research was conducted in Toroq Experimental field station, Mashhad, Iran, for two successive cropping seasons (2000-2002), using split plot experimental design based on complete randomized blocks with three replications. Moisture stress treatments (at seven levels) were assigned to main plots, including: D1 ( full irrigation), D2 (no irrigation from one-leaf to double ridge) st...

Growth and Yield Components of Wheat under Water Stress of Different Growth Stages

A field experiment was conducted to determine the sensitivity of wheat to water stress and changes in water relations and yield of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) under water stress conditions applied at different growth stages. The experiment comprised of two wheat cultivars and four water stress treatments, maintained by withholding water at tillering, anthesis, and at both stages. Water stress ...
